This led to the fake-watch enthusiasts referring to it incorrectly as a 'Lemania replica'. But so far as I know, there is no design overlap between Sea-Gull and Omega watch movements. All of this is irrelevant.
If San Martin is at the top end of Ali-X copy watch stuff, Stauer is near, if not the absolute bottom. I had one, pure unadulterated garbage. If there's a "price war" among tritium watches, Ball doesn't seem to have gotten the memo.
I called STAUER and they asked me to send it back to them, so I did. I guess we'll see what I get back.either way.good.bad. My question is.what kind of luck have any of you had with the watches that STAUER sells? Cheap but good for the money. I have the 1930 and it is a perfectly mediocre watch. I will add that if you buy from them directly they will bombard you with Stauer catalogs. They sell all sorts of shit (not just watches) and it all looks like cheap crap.
